Rock Patch™ … for Rock Solid Concrete Fixes

Cracks. Small holes. Chips. Over time, your concrete driveway or sidewalk ends up with fissures that need to be repaired before they turn into big problems. Daich Coatings has the solution.

ROCK PATCH comes in one and three gallon containers. Just pop the lid, stir and apply. No mixing in dusty cements with water. The pre-mixed polymer and stone formula is ready to go. And if you don’t use the entire container, you can seal it and use the product later in the year.

Why ROCK PATCH?

ROCK PATCH has been designed to fill and level off cosmetic surfaces up to ½-inch deep. It stands up to hot tires and foot traffic, so it can be used in driveways and garages, along with on sidewalks and patios. Impact-, moisture- and salt-resistant, ROCK PATCH is a flexible application that dries rock hard in a dolphin gray color.

Overall, ROCK PATCH gives you the opportunity to fix problem areas in concrete surfaces without the messy hassles of dealing with cement mixes. It serves as a smooth new base for floor paints, decorative coatings, linoleums and more.

Surface Preparation

Start by making sure the area around the space to be fixed is clean and dry. This means it should be free of dirt, dust, oils, peeling paint and surface flaking. Read all the instructions on the container for surface preparation, but in general, be prepared to power wash the area and scrub it clean. You may do best when using a product like Daich Concrete Safe Cleaner and Etcher.

Surface Application

Once the surface is clean and completely dry, then you’re ready to apply the ROCK PATCH product. Open the container and stir the contents to mix it together.

Use a scraper or trowel to apply ROCK PATCH to cracks, holes and surface pitting. Press firmly to completely penetrate the area. Put on about ¼-inch per coat for faster drying. Apply additional layers as needed. See instructions on the container if you’re applying ROCK PATCH to larger floor areas, like a pitted garage floor.

Once the ROCK PATCH is fully cured (about 24 hours), either cover it with your intended finish or flooring. Or, you can seal it with a Daich sealer, like TracSafe Anti-Slip Sealer or Garage & Driveway Concrete Sealer.
