Terrazzo Transforms Porch

Beat up. Worn down. That’s how Maggy Fayez’s 30-year-old front porch looked.

The concrete surface was cracked and chipped everywhere. And she was tired of it. After seeing an ad online for Daich Coatings products, the Ontario homeowner knew it was time to take action.

Maggy searched our company’s website and fell in love with the decorative granite resurfacer Terrazzo® — especially with the Café color that matched the brick on her home exterior.

“To start with, I cleaned and repaired the surface with mortar,” says Maggy. “Then I primed the area and just rolled on the Terrazzo. I’ve been telling everyone about how Daich made it so easy with this product. I get so many compliments on the new look!”

Standing Up to Snow

It’s been more than a year now since Maggy added the Terrazzo to the porch and steps at her Mississauga home. Even after the heavy snow fall this past winter, she reports the product looks perfect.

“We got almost two feet of snow this past winter,” says Maggy. “Each time it snowed we shoveled off the porch entrance and the Terrazzo finish looks as good as new.

“I really love the Daich Coatings products. My next project is to revitalize my kitchen countertops with one of their kits. I just have to decide which one!”
