New Marble Dream® ULTRA Transforms Countertops for $199

Newly-formulated for ease of installation, Marble Dream® ULTRA allows even the most novice DIYer to transform countertops, tables and other furniture surfaces into one-of-a-kind marble creations in just one weekend. The $199 kit from Daich Coatings lets you lay down individual vein lines that blend and spread together to create a subtle marble finish. The resulting authentic-looking marble façade is functional, reliable and durable.

“From ultra-fine lines to soft smoky swirls, you control the look of the marble surface,” says Peter Daich, president of Daich Coatings. “Just add accent colors in specific areas and then use a blow dryer to gently move the colors across the surface to create a blended, swirling effect. The ingredients and heat react with each other to create an authentic-looking marble coating. And it does all of that while completely free of hazardous epoxy chemicals.”

Available in both Pristine White and Cosmos Black, Marble Dream ULTRA Kits cover 40 square feet of space. Kits, which include all tools needed for the project, sell for just $199. No skills or talent are required for the DIY project that takes only three days from start to finish.

Fast, Easy and Authentic-Looking

Once the surface is completely dried, a clear epoxy topcoat is added to seal and protect the marble surface, making it safe for food. Application of the product is low odor and low VOCs.

“There’s surprisingly little work involved in this project,” according Daich. “Most of the time you’re waiting for an application to dry and cure so you can move on to the next step!”

Marble Dream ULTRA surfaces resist stains, heat and impact. Sinks, plumbing fixtures and countertops do not need to be removed before applying this product to laminates, concrete, plywood, MDF, stone, pre-coated and solid surfaces.
