The new DaiHard® MAX Industrial Strength Epoxy Floor Coating Kit Double offers expanded options for providing affordable, high-performance finishes to interior concrete floors. The value-added two-gallon kits are a new version of the company’s popular DaiHard® MAX Industrial Strength Epoxy Floor Coating Kit.
“We’re adding a second gallon of epoxy floor coating to the DaiHard MAX Double kits,” says Peter Daich, president of Daich Coatings. “The price on these kits will only increase by $60 during our summer promotion — ending September 30, 2024 — but we’re providing lots of options with that second gallon for people to truly customize and expand their flooring project.”
Option #1- Cover More Space
For DIYers looking to finish off a large garage or basement floor, each gallon of the epoxy covers 250 square feet of space. The DaiHard MAX Double kit comes in gray or tan — and a new clear option. And with two cans of the epoxy in the kit, people can now cover up to 500 square feet of space! Decorative vinyl flakes are included in the kit, which may be sprinkled onto the wet surface in a uniform layer to create a slip-resistant floor.
Option #2 – Higher Gloss Finish
Because Daich Coatings has received requests from consumers looking for a very high gloss look on floors, the DaiHard MAX Double kit is also available with one gallon of grey or tan and one gallon of clear epoxy.
To achieve a showroom-shine finish, DIYers would first put down the colored option. Then, after an appropriate amount of drying time, they would add the clear coat. The decorative non-slip flakes are still an option to add. These kits will cover 250 square feet of space.

Easy Install – Long Lasting Results
The tough, industrial strength 100 percent solids epoxy floor coating in all versions of the DaiHard MAX kits offers excellent resistance to hot tires, chemicals and daily wear. It also resists stains, cracking, fading, peeling, blistering, mold and mildew, making it ideal for automotive centers, basements, garages and warehouses.
The unique two-part epoxy formula is easy to apply by roller or application squeegee. It can cover bare concrete floors or smooth over previously coated floors. The decorative vinyl flakes — usually sold separately by other companies for $20 or more – are included in the kit.
