He watched the videos and was impressed. So Kent ordered the product and got to work.<\/p><p>\u201cAfter power washing and sealing the cracks, I applied the primer,\u201d says McIntire. \u201cThen I applied two coats of SpreadRock in the Brownstone color. After taking a week to fix the cracks and re-grade the area to ensure proper drainage, he again repeated the steps from the front porch, using the same products.<\/p><p>\u201cFor both areas I used the trowel method as it allowed me to have more control of coverage as I was spreading it,\u201d says McIntire. \u201cI troweled on about an 8-10 square-foot area at a time. Then I used a squeegee to smooth out any ridges or rough spots.\u201d<\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<div class=\"elementor-element elementor-element-10fffe4 e-flex e-con-boxed e-con e-parent\" data-id=\"10fffe4\" data-element_type=\"container\" data-e-type=\"container\">\n\t\t\t\t\t<div class=\"e-con-inner\">\n\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-element elementor-element-871a4c4 elementor-drop-cap-yes elementor-drop-cap-view-default elementor-widget elementor-widget-text-editor\" data-id=\"871a4c4\" data-element_type=\"widget\" data-e-type=\"widget\" data-settings=\"{&quot;drop_cap&quot;:&quot;yes&quot;}\" data-widget_type=\"text-editor.default\">\n\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-widget-container\">\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<p>Kent relates that the process was fairly easy for both projects. He\u2019s pleased that the Brownstone color he selected matches the brick color on his house perfectly.<\/p><p>\u201cI give the SpreadRock product 5 stars based on ease of use and final look,\u201d says McIntire. \u201cMy biggest tip is to use a trowel to spread the product and a squeegee to smooth out the trowel marks.<\/p><p>\u201cThe other thing I did that I thought was quite sensible is I used all products from the same company. I wanted to be sure to avoid any potential unexpected chemical reactions or other incompatibilities should that arise.
